What is the "Law of Reciprocity?"
What is the "Law of Reciprocity"
I have just read a book called “The 10 Keys to Create Wealth” to fulfill your life’s purposes. I paid special attention to the chapter talking about “The Law of Reciprocity”. I kept thinking; what does that mean? It is simply this: If you want to prosper in all areas of your life then you must give back to the community by offering a valued benefit for those you around you.
Ok, what does she mean? What I mean is this. If you want to succeed in life you have to give back. It is the unwritten law of nature. God speaks of this in his word. “Give and it will be given unto you, good measure, pressed down and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you”
Let me give you some examples:
A man I would like to meet, but have not yet is Michael Ellison who is the author of “The 10 Keys to Create Wealth” to fulfill your life’s purpose, is the classic example of a man using “The Law of Reciprocity”. He has achieved greatness in his family, friends, wealth and health by using this formula. He believes that by offering a wellness program to the community and by serving God at the same time he is giving something of value that benefits his clients. We all want to be healthy and gain financial wealth, don’t we? I know I do. Now my thought is; how do we achieve this? For what gain is there to have wealth and no health. What do you profit if you spend your days wealthy and sick and no one to share your wealth with?
**Give something of Value and let it be a benefit to mankind”**
Wealth is what you determine it to be. Some call it “money in the bank”, others call it having family, friends, a relationship with God, etc… I say it can be that but can also include the wealth of prospering others in all walks of life by being a blessing to them and solving a problem for them.
If you were walking down the street and found a man injured on the road would you take the time to help him? The fact is that in this day and age most of us would call 911 or the police. The Law of Reciprocity is a different approach. Go to the injured man and assess his condition, talk to him to bring him comfort and to let him know you are there to help him, call the appropriate help, stay with him until help arrives, ask him if you can pray with him or if there is another way you can help him. Call his family, his friend or clergy. Do you see the difference here? You gave him something of value. It was not monetarily given but given from a human aspect. You put yourself out there. Now in 5 years when he tells this story to his friends or family do you think he will remember your kindness? Will he remember you? What will his thought be? I think it will be something like this…. You know, I will never forget how sweet she was to help me and comfort me, she even offered to call people for me and to pray with me. Do you see here how that will stay with that person? You can do it the easy way, but will they remember? Most definitely not!
I would recommend this book to anyone for this chapter all by itself however there are many golden nuggets through out the entire book. I am glad you took the time to read my article and let me leave you this final thought….
We determine and choose in life our Success and our failure. What will your choice be? Mine will be Success in every aspect of my life by applying “The Law of Reciprocity”!

Being a Self Motivator
We are all motivated by different things: people, power, money, fame, or Success. We rely on these motivators to push us to work harder, faster, and better. These motivators can be the difference between a good performance and a great performance.
But what happens when our boss is traveling and isn’t there to motivate you? What if your spouse is busy with the kids and doesn’t have time to inspire you to do your best? Or, what if a motivator such as a higher sales commission has lost its appeal?
When someone or something can no longer motivate you (whether temporarily or permanently), you need to motivate yourself! Actually, self-motivation should be your main source of motivation at all times. If you aren’t motivated, it will be a lot harder for someone or something to do it for you!
Let’s say you have just been assigned a very important project that if executed correctly, could increase your company’s revenue significantly. No pressure! You have been told that this project is to be your top priority and it will take several months to complete.
Since you’ll be working on this project by yourself, you won’t have a lot of interaction with your boss and colleagues. In fact , your boss has some important projects of his own that he’ll be tending to, as well as hiring some new staff.
Therefore, you are going to need to rely on self-motivation to help you Successfully complete this project.
Here are 7 tips to being a self-motivator:
--1. Set goals.
Identify exactly what it is you need to be motivated about. If you set goals, you will stay focused.
-- 2. Have faith in yourself.
No matter how big a project seems, you need to be confident that you can complete it Successfully. If you don’t have faith in yourself, why should anyone else?
-- 3. Create a plan.
How do you plan to achieve your goals? Break down big tasks into bite-size nibbles so you can see frequent progress.
-- 4. Visualize Success.
“See” yourself accomplishing the project Successfully. When you don’t have the result in mind, what will you be going for?
-- 5. Avoid burnout.
Don’t let your motivation fade because you are burning out. Do what you need to do to stay eager and motivated—take a different approach or step away from the project for a short amount of time.
-- 6. Don’t rely on others for support.
Don’t wait for encouragement from others to keep you going. That way, if you do get positive support it will be the icing on the cake!
-- 7. Congratulate yourself.
Perhaps one of the best self-motivators is to have a reward to look forward to! You can give yourself mini rewards for reaching certain milestones and treat yourself to one big reward at the completion of the goal.
As they say, you can be your own worst enemy. But , instead—be your best motivator! When you are self-motivated, you don’t let the influence of other people or things determine your outcome—you determine it!

6 Pillars of Business
To be Successful, you need to do what the Successful people do! It's really that simple. Here are what I've found to be the 6 pillars of business Success:
1. Set Yourself Apart From The Rest!
Almost all businesses have some competition - other people selling the same, or similar, products. In order to survive and prosper despite your competitors, you have to set yourself apart from them.
Have you differentiated yourself from your competition? Is there something unique about your business, product, offer, or service? Study your product and your offer, and seek out what's unique about it.
Look at your competition. Study them! Pick their sales letters apart! Find out what they're lacking that you could use to establish your uniqueness.
Always ask yourself these questions...
"Why should customers choose me over my competitors? What am I offering that other businesses aren't? What are they getting from me that they're not getting from others? "
I see more and more people everyday, starting websites with the same set of ebooks, bundled up in the same way, promoting just about the same benefits. The only difference, if any, is the price - usually much lower than it should be.
If having a lower price is your only differentiating factor, you're in trouble because someone will always undercut you. Find unique qualities about your business, product, or offer other than low price.
If you don't set yourself apart by offering some unique positive and desirable benefit, your offer - and consequently, your business - will be lost among the other mediocre offers that exist.
2. Learn To Write Response-Generating Sales Copy!
Are your ads and sales letters sucking people in, creating mental pictures and movies in their minds of the benefits they'll enjoy? Are your sales materials getting customers so hot that they buy on the spot?
Creating powerful sales materials is crucial to your business Success. The best product does not always get the sale; The best "sales presentation" does!
The quality of the product is obviously important. However , the customer will only buy if you can easily "convey" those unique qualities and benefits to him. Show him why he absolutely needs your product and why he'll lose out if he doesn't buy!
You've worked hard to get customers to your site. Don't let that go to waste. Learn to create compelling ads and sales materials that get your customers hot and ready to buy "now! "
3. Make Some Noise!
Are you sitting quietly hoping people will somehow know that you exist? It's not gonna happen.
Get out there! Make yourself known. Go to the popular forums and contribute. Get in touch with other businesses and marketers and form alliances. Offer to co-create products with them.
Make outrageous claims! (As long as you can back them up. ) Get publicity. Get press coverage and airtime if you can!
Make some noise! Get people to notice what you're doing! Make an impression on their minds. If they don't know you exist, they can't do business with you.
4. Build Your "Smart" Network!
Build a strong positive relationship with other businesses and marketers. But , be very selective about who you join forces with.
Find out which Successful marketers possess the same values and qualities as you do, and offer to joint venture with them.
Joint venture, in my opinion, is still the best way to grow your business quickly and cost-effectively! Make full use of it.
Most Successful people will be more than happy to help you out. Take advantage of that. Ask for joint ventures. Ask for testimonials. Ask for help!
And help them back in return, whenever possible.
5. Nurture Your List!
Build a strong positive relationship with your prospects and clients!
Keep in touch with them regularly. Help them, guide them, protect them! Earn their respect and trust. Treat them as you would treat your friends.
If nothing else, send them some useful tips occasionally to help them reach their goals quicker.
And sell to them! Most marketers don't sell to their lists often enough. If you're offering them quality products they can benefit from, you're providing them with a great service!
If you truly believed that a certain product would greatly benefit a friend, would you tell them about it? Of course you would! Treat your prospects and clients the same way. They'll be grateful to you for doing so!
Whenever possible, keep in touch with them on a regular basis, and build a strong positive relationship with them.
6. Keep Moving Forward!
Keep trying and testing so you can continue to improve and grow.
If things are going just as you planned, don't stop improving and growing. Continue to strive for better and better!
If something doesn't turn out exactly like you wanted it to, learn from it and move on. Because you now know what 'doesn't' work. You're way ahead of someone who's not trying at all due to fear of failure.
There's really no such thing as failure as long as you learn from it and improve what you're doing the next time around. Each failure is in fact another step towards Success, towards your goals.
Remember, there is no such thing as failure! If you fall down, you can always get up and try something else. Falling down is not failure; staying down is.
Keep moving forward and don't ever stop!
If you focus on these 6 pillars consistently and use them to build your business, you will always end up at the top, leaving your competitors in the dust!
See you at the top!
Sincerely,
Bryan Kumar

Four Steps To Turning Any Problem Into An Opportunity
What's the difference between a problem and an opportunity? It's obvious, right? If your response to that question is that obviously, it's the circumstances – you might want to think again. Have you ever heard of or seen two people achieving different outcomes, even though they began with the same circumstances?
For example , in the midst of an economic downturn, might one say that every company might expect to be similarly effected? Well, what about the ones that prosper? What makes the difference? The difference is in how one responds to the circumstances. For example , one luxury car dealership did very well during the economic downturn in the early ‘90s. How? They gathered their staff and brainstormed and experimented with extraordinary responses to the problem at hand – no one was buying their luxury cars. The one that worked? They brought the cars down to the local country club and offered test drives. Sales went through the roof.
How do you respond in the face of problems? Do you get creative? Or discouraged? Do you look on the bright side? Or see all the things you don’t want to see? Here are 4 keys to turning this around in your own life, so that, like that luxury car dealership, you can thrive, even in challenging circumstances.
* “What if this were happening FOR me? ”
Most people’s automatic response to a negative circumstance is to feel that it’s happening TO them. It's easy to become victim mode and wallow in that. What if, instead, you were to ask yourself, “What if this were happening FOR me? ” How is this ultimately contributing to me? How is it for my greater good?
* "What opportunities are opening up for me that didn't exist before? ”
Sometimes, when you lose the thing you most feared losing, it can free up a lot of energy. For example , if you were afraid to pursue your passion because it would mean giving up your employment, and then you lose your job, well, it's time to pursue that passion! Or if you no longer have the opportunity to do something that used to occupy a lot of your time, what does that free up time for? Or if a relationship ends, what does that make available? And how might you step out and create something even better?
* “What do I really want? ”
Every complaint, every negative, is an indication that there’s something you want that you don’t have. No one complains unless there’s some other option they believe would be better. So , if you’ve encountered a problem, use it as a pointer to what you want. Just turn around and shift your focus. Instead of focusing on what’s wrong, you can even make a list of all of the reasons you’re seeing it as a problem, and then for each one, write down one or more things you can now see you want. And once you know what you want, focus on and progress toward it!
* “If I knew there was no such thing as failure, what would I do next? ”
Once you’re seeing how this is happening FOR you, and you’ve uncovered the hidden opportunities, and clarified what you want, it’s time to get into action. Set some new goals, make plans, and start. “But what if I fail? ” you ask. Afterall, this all began with a problem. How can you take more risks? Easy. Recognize that there is no failure. The difference between Success and failure is simply this: Achieving Success comes from flexibility, creativity, and tenacity. Failure occurs when people quit. Look at Thomas Edison, and how many failed attempts he made before he actually invented the light bulb. As he said, “I have not failed. I've just found 10, 000 ways that won't work. ”
Think about this – Mattie Christianson was born with no arms past the elbows, no legs past the knees. Yet when he was 11, he was the pitcher on his winning softball team. This wise young man said, “You have to give up all your excuses. ” He simply didn’t accept failure, or limitations. If he can accomplish that, what can you do?
